A man charged in a fatal crash on Chicago’s Far South Side has died.

Glenn Jones, 27, was facing several charges — including reckless homicide — in connection with the crash Thursday night at 123rd and State Street.

Authorities say he was fleeing from police when he hit a car, then a tree.

Dalila Smith, 23, of Skokie, was ejected from Jones’ car and killed.

Two people in the other car were injured.

Jones died Monday afternoon.
