2 charged for videotaping inside gym locker room in Wisconsin

Two people are charged with a felony for secretly videotaping people in the locker room of a gym near Kenosha.

Cameras were found Monday in the RecPlex facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Police haven’t released the name of a 36-year-old man from Waukegan charged in the investigation.

Evidence was recovered from his home.

27-year-old Melissa Wenckenbach of Pleasant Prairie is also charged.  She was a member of the RecPlex. Her membership has been terminated.

Investigators say the cameras may have been in place since January.

It’s unknown how much video was recorded and whether any has been distributed.
