Double Duty Foods

Usual: veggie dip
Double Duty: Add lemon juice to make into a salad dressing!

Usual: breakfast food
Double Duty: Use it as a hearty hamburger bun

Usual: served with peaches
Double Duty: Blend it smooth and stir in herbs for a flavorful veggie dip

Usual: hot breakfast cereal
Double Duty: Brown rolled oats in a skillet for super simple granola (on Greek yogurt)

Usual: sandwich with jelly
Double Duty: Enjoy it as an energizing breakfast protein

Peanut and Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie

1 cup black cherry juice
1/4 cup peanut butter, smooth
4 oz vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2 small banana
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
1 tsp honey, strained or extracted
4 tsp unsweetened cocoa
1 cup ice

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.
As an option, replace peanut butter, honey and cocoa with delicious dark chocolate peanut butter and nutrition facts would be slightly different.
