Bond denied for man charged with killing clerk, wounding father of 10
Bond was denied Wednesday for the man charged with killing a grocery store clerk and seriously wounding a father of ten kids.
31-year-old Joey Jones is accused of shooting to death 57-year-old Omar Maslat at a grocery store at 63rd St and Western Ave Tuesday morning.
Police say about four hours later, Jones got into an argument with Brion Payne in the parking lot near a Dunkin Donuts in the Uptown neighborhood.
They claim Jones shot Payne in the back of the head.
Payne is unconscious, but in stable condition.
