FedEx employee recovering after shooting on South Side
A FedEx worker who was shot on the job last Friday, is recovering from her injuries.
Attorneys representing the woman say she is improving, but remains in a lot of pain.
The 35-year-old employee was delivering packages in the Bronzeville neighborhood Friday night, when police believe she was caught in gang crossfire while she was sitting inside her truck. A bullet struck her in the leg.
The FedEx employee is the mother of a 20-year-old college student.
Her attorney says her main priority is to heal physically and regain her health.
