Dozens of stolen vehicles found in South Side lot

Chicago police are investigating after several stolen vehicle were found in one parking lot Monday.

Police say the responded to a call of “stolen auto” at the a business in the 3000 block of East 106th St.

Police arrived to discover a vehicle listen as stolen parking in a lot at the business. Officers then found “additional vehicles” reported as stolen parking in the same lot.

The Chicago Tribune reports as many as 70 vehicles were found.

“Due to the volume and complexity of the investigation, a disposition of the incident is expected to take some time,” police said in a statement.

    I don't know what the penalty is for stealing a car, but it should be multiplied for each stolen car. So if you could get 5 years lets say, multiply that by the number of cars stolen.
