A wet and windy start to our Friday, but the afternoon hours should bring more sun and a cool down.
Lingering light rain or snow is expected to exit the region late this morning. Under partly cloudy skies we should see highs in the upper 40s inland, but a stiff north/northeast breeze will have temperatures along the lakefront dropping back into the 30s.
There’s a chance for some light snow showers tonight, especially south of I-80. That snow could linger into Saturday morning, but the rest of the day should see decreasing clouds with highs in the mid-40s. Once again cooler conditions are expected near the lake.
Sunday will bring a big warm up. Mostly sunny skies and breezy southwest winds will push temps to near 60 degrees.
