Razor blades glued to equipment in East Moline park

A toddler was injured after being cut by razor blades that were glued to playground equipment at a park in East Moline.

Police spent several hours searching all of the city’s parks after a dozen razor blades were found in one park, Monday afternoon.

A man notified police after his 2-year-old cut his hand.

The boy’s father treated his injuries at home.

The officers removed the blades and collected other evidence.

Authorities don’t know how long they were there, and do not have information on a possible suspects.
