Man charged for deadly hit-and-run in West Town

A man is due in Cook County bond court Tuesday for a hit and run that killed a man in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood.

Timothy McShane is charged with reckless homicide and aggravated drunk driving.

Police say McShane was driving his SUV when he hit Shane Stokowski, on the 400 block of North Aberdeen Saturday afternoon.

Stokowski was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
