Explosion flattens home in New Lenox

Emergency crews are on the scene of a home explosion in New Lenox.

The explosion was reported at about 2 p.m. at 777 Lambeth Lane.

The home is “pretty much leveled,” according to Joliet Fire Department Central Command.

Everyone is accounted for and no injuries have been reported.

    I was coming home when I heard the explosion then I see a big ball of smoke fill the air I rush over there to find a huge fire had burst out and I knew the kid that lived in that house very nice kid and the whole house just came down and there are even windows from the house that flew across the street from the house
