Gusty southeast winds and filtered sunshine will push temperatures into the low 50s inland, but the chilly breeze across the lake will keep lakeside areas in the mid-40s.
Showers will become likely tonight as a cold front approaches the region.
A few thunderstorms are also possible as temps fall into the upper 30s. As colder air continues to push into the region a chance for rain and snow showers will continue Wednesday.
A warm up is forecast for Thursday and Friday, but colder air will return for the weekend.
