Cops: Driver tries to lure teen in Humboldt Park neighborhood

Police are warning residents after a man reportedly tried to lure a 15-year-old girl into his vehicle on Wednesday.

About 1 p.m., the suspect began talking to the girl as she walked in the 3900 block of West Division Street, police said in a community alert.

The girl ignored the man and was unharmed, police said.

Authorities describe the man’s vehicle as a light blue car that may have the disability Illinois license plate 163 267. Police described the suspect as approximately 40 years old but did not provide a detailed description of him.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8200.

For information about community safety programs for students walking to and from school, residents can call the CAPS Implementation Office at (312)-747-9987.

You can simply hold up your cell phone and take his picture or actually record the event. You may have to fight off new attacks from other thuggies but you can record those too, including the point where you come up with your concealed carry 40 cal Glock 27 loaded with 9 rounds of Buffalo Bore Heavy S&W+P 155gr Gold Dot ammo and watch him accelerate into the viaduct as you reload. What?
