‘Upskirt’ photos legal in Massachusetts, court says

Women are criticizing the decision of a Supreme Court ruling in Massachusetts.

The court ruled that it is not illegal to take a picture under a woman’s skirt.

The ruling comes after Michael Robertson was charged twice with taking these kinds of photos of women on the train.

The “peeping tom” statute written 10 years ago says it’s only illegal, if the person is nude or partially nude, which is what Robertson’s attorney argued last year.

Lawmakers are hoping to amend the statute.
