The snow fall is causing delays on the streets, roads and public transit.

The Department of Streets and Sanitation deployed over 280 snow plows and salt spreaders to main streets and Lake Shore Drive.  Plows will first focus on clearing arterial routes to ensure streets are safe for motorists and emergency vehicles.  Once the snow stops and main routes are clear, plows will be redeployed to neighborhood streets.
