Indiana woman with stomach pains gives birth to surprise baby
An Indiana woman who was rushed to the hospital with stomach pains was shocked to find out that she was pregnant and about to give birth.
According to WRTV, Mandy Batchelor of Greencastle, Ind., gave birth to a son just hours after getting to the hospital.
Batchelor, who is already a mother of two, had no idea that she was pregnant. She says that she had weight gain, but that it was similar to her usual winter weight gain.
The baby’s father Josh Cox said the couple had to scramble to figure out a name for the 7 pound, 13 ounce child: “General Lee is my Mom’s grandpa and then Jacob was my dad’s grandpa. So both my great grandpas. I just put them together. Plus I have a general lee car, so it just all worked out.”
