Chicago police are holding a man from Milwaukee after accusing him of assaulting a woman whose car was rear-ended on the Northwest Side more than three months ago.
He’s identified as Jason Castro.
The woman was picking up her children from school near Cicero and Dickens on November 19th when her car was hit.
As she started taking pictures of the damage and the license plate of the other driver, police say Castro punched her in the face and broke her nose, a tooth and an eye socket bone.
Castro was arrested Saturday; he is charged with felony aggravated battery.
