Video of alderman’s bachelor party posted online

A video of a Chicago alderman’s bachelor party wound up online and he says it was part of an extortion attempt.

28th Ward Alderman Jason Ervin admits, this is video from his wild bachelor party.

It was held in the same building that houses his aldermanic offices.

The party, in 2012, included a performance by female strippers.

At one point, a woman asks the videographer to turn off the camera.

But Ervin insists he did nothing illegal, and he spent no taxpayer money or campaign money on the party.

n a statement, Alderman Ervin says, “I am deeply disappointed that an individual, whom I regarded as a friend, would attempt to extort me, my family, and the residents of the ward for personal gain. I apologize to the residents of the 28th Ward for the attention that this has brought and I do not want this private event to overshadow the good work we have accomplished in the 28th Ward.”

Chicago police say they have not received an extortion complaint from Ervin.

Um this is a "NO-BRAINER", When an Alderman states and insists he did nothing illegal, and he spent no taxpayer money or campaign money on the party.

Guess what Alderman in case you didn't notice: YOU used the Office to host your shin-dig, that means you did use taxpayers money, since we pay for your electricity and heat to keep your office running.
