Hundreds take icy plunge in Lake Michigan

Saturday’s chilly temperatures weren’t too cold to deter a quick dip into Lake Michigan.
It was the annual “Polar Plunge”  and hundreds of brave souls willingly took a jump into the icy waters off Evanston to raise thousands of dollars for the Special Olympics.
Crowds cheered on the plungers as they shed their coats and warm clothes for a quick dip in the water.

    They got to be crazy by doing that, can they wait to go out and to jump in the lake in the summertime instead of late cold Febuary weather, when the lake is cold and dirty.
