1-minute forecast: Warmer conditions, evening snow possible; High – 33
The skies will remain mostly cloudy, but strengthening south/southwest winds will give our temperatures a boost.
Ahead of a cold front highs are expected to reach the low 30s. There is a slight chance for flurries or a few snow showers this afternoon.
Behind the cold front we’ll see a renewed chill to end the workweek and start the weekend.
After a morning start near 12 degrees we’ll look for highs in the low 20s Friday afternoon. Saturday mornings low will fall into the low single digits above zero near the city and single digits below zero in the outer areas.
As temperatures once again reach the low 20s Saturday afternoon another chance for snow arrives.
Accumulations of 1-2 inches are possible through Saturday evening.
