Chicagoans fed-up with cold weather
“I came from Ohio today. I thought it was bad there. you people are unbelievably strong.”
Strong we may be– but we’re also unbelievably fed-up. and bundled-up.
“You can’t even see the whites of our eyes.”
“The cold temperature, it won’t go away.”
“It’s winter- what do you expect?”
Huh. that guy makes a pretty good point. And how about the guy who said “I’m more miserable than you because I just came back from a 25th anniversary trip to Tahiti.
Imagine the culture shock there. Some of us might never come back.
“The cold I can deal with, but the snow- uh-uh. cause people can’t drive too well.”
We’re sure finding that out. Stuck drivers were getting pushed out today on side streets all over town.
But by nightfall, with the temperature dropping, it’s tough to keep your spirits up.
“I could just cry right now. really? me too. can I cry on your shoulder? let’s just hold each other for a second. i feel warmer already. I feel a little better.”
