$1M bail set in convenience store shooting

A man accused of trying to execute a hit on a South Side convenience store owner is being held on a $1 million dollar bail.

Authorities say Jovan Williams admitted to shooting the man in the head, as he opened his store in the 2400 block of West 63rd street on Thursday.

Prosecutors say Williams was paid by a competing store owner to kill the man.

He is in critical condition.

It's because of excrement like these, that Illinois needs the death penalty. Now tax payers will be on the hook to feed clothe and shelter these worthless slugs.
