Schools back in session after arctic blast
Chicago area schools are back in session today after being closed due to the bitter cold temperatures.
Students walking or take public transit Wednesday morning, will face artic wind chills that will make the temperature feel like 30 below zero.
That means anyone going outside needs to cover as much skin as possible, and limit their time outdoors.
The the windchill is expected to end around lunch, raising temperatures to the teens.
The extreme cold has resulted in to four missed school days already this month. Those days will have to be made up at the end of the school year.
