Vigil held for Bensenville store clerk shot during robbery

Family and friends of a Bensenville store clerk, who was killed at the business on Sunday held a vigil in his memory this afternoon.

Surveillance video captured the two suspects during an armed robbery at the “Sam’s tobacco and food mart” on Irving Park road.

Killed was 36-year old Hussein Saghir, a clerk at the small shop owned by his brother.

The brothers were locking-up around six p-m and that’s when the suspects confronted them.
