Arctic air has returned to the region and it’s not going to leave anytime soon.

Another in our never ending series of clippers will move through the area today and it will bring light snow with it.

Minor accumulations of ½ to 1 inch are possible.

Temperatures today are only expected to reach the mid-teens, well below the average high of 31.

A breezy west/southwest winds will make it feel more like -5 to -15 degrees.

We’ll be very cold once again tonight.  Under mostly cloudy skies temperatures are forecast to dip below zero overnight with wind chills of  -15 to -25 degrees.  A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued from Wed 9PM to Thu 10AM.

Despite sunshine returning Thursday the mercury will struggle to rise.  Afternoon highs around 7 degrees will feel more like -10 to -20 thanks to a breezy northwest wind.
