Former Chicago alderman Ambrosio Medrano was back in court Monday to be sentenced for a third time.

Medrano was given a 10 1/2-year sentence Friday for his role in a medical contract kickback scheme.

In the 1990’s, he served time for taking bribes in an illegal dumping case known as “Operation Silver Shovel.”

Medrano’s latest sentencing follows his conviction for plotting with a businessman to pay off a Los Angeles official for a mail-order pharmaceutical contract with the Cook County hospital system.

In Chicago even the judges are crooked. Most of them are appointed or promoted by city politicians. Has anybody heard of the Croatian girl who's case is lost in the courts for over a decade now. This is Chicago's justice at its best. Judges, politicians, etc. Are there any decent politicians in Chicago? Sadly there are many honest politicians , They just lost to the machine.
