Chicago Cubs unveil new mascot ‘Clark’

For the first time in their modern history, the Chicago Cubs have unveiled a new mascot.

The bear-cub mascot named “Clark” will make his debut Monday night during a visit with children at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center’s pediatric developmental center.

The mascot also will greet fans at Wrigley Field before and during games, as well as assist kids in running the bases on Family Sundays. Families can visit Clark’s Clubhouse at Wrigley.

ChicagoCubs_Mascot_2013_IconsaiClark is named after Clark and Addison, the intersection where Wrigley Field is located.

The cubs need to focus on having a winning seasion. Not on a mascot

Don't worry Northsiders! Clark is your new closer! He will easily get 50 saves and have an ERA of 0.00 in the 2014 season, but will get traded away for a late round draft pick before the trade deadline.

I don't like the cap being worn backwards by the mascot. In my opinion the backwards cap reflects an appearance that is more superficially hip and less earnest.
