Macy’s to layoff 2500 employees, close 5 stores nationwide

Macy’s has announced plans to lay off about 2,500 employees and close a number of stores as part of an overall cost reduction plan.

 

The company has not yet released where the affected employees are located.

 

A total of five stores are slated to close.  Those stores are located in Arizona, Kansas, Missouri, New York and Utah.

    What about hope and change? Obamacare killed those jobs.

    Interesting that they are planning the hiring of 2000 employees in Owasso,OK for their new mega warehouse in the next year or so
