Brutally cold temperatures have blown into the area and they won’t leave for a couple days.
Temperatures will hover around -11 degrees through much of the day.
Strong west winds will add to the misery dropping wind chills to dangerous levels at -35 to -45 degrees.
Overnight temps are expected to drop into the mid-teens with wind chills remaining near -30 to -40 degrees.
A slight warm up is expected Tuesday with temperatures rising to around 4 degrees, but wind chills will stay around -15 to -30 degrees.
The warming trend will continue through the rest of the week.
