The Department of Streets and Sanitation is teaming up with the park district to kick off the   25th annual Christmas tree recycling program in Chicago.

You can drop off your tree anytime between now and the end of the month at any of the 23 designated park locations.

Be sure to remove all the ornaments and lights, and don’t tie-up or bag the tree.

Recycled trees will be turned into mulch for gardens which you can then pick up at the same park locations.

We’ve put up a full list of Christmas tree recycling locations here.
