This is why you don't drive through flooded roads.Find another way around.

Not only that, the road was marked as CLOSED due to the water. Instead of taking a 45-minute detour, they choose to take the risk. They lost.

This area of Highway 257 floods every year, there have been many lives lost there over the years. Drivers should mind the warning signs, but the best thing would be to completely block the road. This tragedy occurred in Pike County, near Daviess County. Daviess is pronounced the same as Davis.
