Shoppers pack stores for after-Christmas bargains, returns

Bargain hunters got an early start to the post-Christmas shopping rush Thursday, as stores opened early in hopes of one last boost in sales.

Retailers are expected to offer record bargains to unload end-of-season inventory as they look to lure customers who are returning gifts.

Some of the deals include discounts of up to 75% off,  buy one get one free and more.

Retail analysts say major chains have seen disappointing sales numbers due to the shorten shopping time between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Most retailers were also offering major discounts online.
