New pizza spot has your pie ‘Blazin’ fast
In a city synonymous with good pizza, a new comer testing the waters.
California-based Blaze pizza opened its doors in the Lakeview neighborhood last week and is hoping its lighter fare, lower prices, and quick cooking will hit Chicagoans where it counts.
Dough is made onsite fresh daily and offered traditional or gluten free.
And that is just where the choices begin.
Each pizza goes into an 800 degree oven and is in your hands in 3 minutes.
The Belmont location is the first of many expected to be opening in the months ahead.
