Man charged in hit-and-run that injured 3 family members
A man is facing charges in the hit-and-run crash that critically injured three people in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
Reth Yiv turned himself into police on Monday.
He’s facing multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident and negligent driving.
Prosecutors say he hit a man and his mother and father while they were crossing Devon Avenue near Campbell on Sunday night.
He then hit a parked car, and drove the wrong way down a one-way street.
The family members suffered serious injuries in the crash.
The father and son are now out of intensive care, but both are in a lot of pain.
The Tribune reports that the mother is still in a medically-induced coma.
