2 winning lottery tickets sold in Chicago about to expire

If you have any old lottery tickets sitting in a drawer you may want to check them.

But be quick about it, because two unclaimed jackpots are about to expire.

A winning ticket for the Lucky Day Lotto was sold January 10, 2013 at A&N Amoco in the 1500 block of W. North Ave.

It matched all five numbers 14-17-22-29-38 and is worth $100,000.

A Mega Millions ticket sold January 11, 2013 was bought at the Lucky Mart in the 2900 block of West 87th St.

It’s worth $250,000.

Those numbers are 24-29-30-34-56.

Players have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
