An immigrant from Vietnam who lives in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood won $1 million in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing.

The woman bought the lucky ticket at Tai Nam Food Market at Broadway and Argyle. Her ticket matched five of the six numbers. She missed the Megaball. She quickly stopped by the store on Wednesday. She wants her identity to remain anonymous, but did agree to share her photo with WGN as an exclusive.
Two people won the $636 million dollar Mega Millions jackpot. One winning ticket was sold at a news stand in Atlanta, Georgia, and the other at a gift shop in San Jose, California. The winners will split the second largest prize in U.S. lottery history.
