Three arrested for looting tornado ravaged home

Three people from Peoria are accused of looting after the tornadoes in Washington, Illinois.

Sherry Wallace, Andrew Wallace Junior, and Antonio Giles are charged with felony looting.

Washington police say they arrested them after they were seen loading a vehicle near a home that was leveled.

Stolen electronics and other valuables were found inside.

Police are crediting a local news crew that saw people going through the wreckage and reported it.

All three were released from custody, but they’re due back in court on January 9.
