Pope Francis is Time magazine’s ‘Person of the Year’

Time magazine has chosen Pope Francis as its Person of the Year.

Time’s editors say the new Pope “captured the imaginations of millions who had given up on hoping for the Catholic church.”

The Pope beat out nine other finalists, including President Obama, the presidents of Iran and Syria, NSA leaker Edward Snowden, and even entertainer Miley Cyrus.
