Walt Disney’s childhood home in Chicago may become museum
Walt Disney’s childhood home in Chicago may become a museum.
Disney and his brother were born in a house in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The house was sold to a couple from Los Angeles.
They own a studio that designs theme park attractions.
They plan to use the property as a museum that inspires creativity.
On Thursday, which is Walt Disney’s birthday, the couple will unveil a campaign on Kickstarter to raise $500,000 for the restoration of the home.
