Bulls’ Derrick Rose out for season after surgery

Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose will miss the rest of the 2013-14 NBA season after undergoing what was described as successful surgery to repair torn medial meniscus in his right knee, the team announced.

The surgery was performed by Bulls head team physician Dr. Brian Cole and team physician Dr. Chuck Bush Joseph at Rush University Medical Center.
