When thinking about the drink menu, keep in mind the season.  Fall fruits are a great way to spruce up a simple cocktail.  Current favorite is Pomegranate Bliss made with Brugal Extra Dry Rum and Pom pomegranate juice.

If you want your guests to have a personalized takeaway from the event, I would suggest wine totes from Lands’ End.  You can pick the color and customize with names or initials.  Simply add the wine from dinner or another of your favorites.

For the last minute party planner fake the homemade dessert with a Mrs. Smith’s frozen pie.  The original flaky crust pumpkin pie tastes homemade!  Set in a pie platter and your guests won’t know the difference.

For large parties integrate food and décor into one – edible décor.  That way guests can snack, socialize and enjoy the festive decorations without interruption.
