Report: ’50 Shades of Grey’ release date moved to February 2015

jamiedornanFans of the “50 Shades of Grey” book will have to wait a little longer than expected to see the movie.

According to EW.com, the film adaptation of E L James’ erotic novel will be released in time for the Valentine’s Day weekend in February 2015.

The movie was originally slated to be released on August 1, 2014.

Casting changes could be the reason for the reason for the later release date. “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam was originally cast as the movie’s male lead but backed out of the role citing scheduling and family commitments.

Irish actor Jamie Dornan was cast in Hunnam’s place, and will co-star alongside Dakota Johnson.
