Tony’s Tips:

It might be cold outside, but it’s not too early to get started on bulbs for a refreshing dose of color and beauty.

Pot Amaryllis bulbs in water or soil and place in a warm, bright spot in the house.

South American Amaryllis often bloom in time for the holidays.

Force spring-flowering bulbs like hyacinth, daffodils and tulips by chilling 10-12 weeks at 35-40F.

Put those bulbs in loose bags in refrigerator crisper drawer for 10-12 weeks. After that, pot them in a container and water to ensure root growth.
