3 killed in Arlington Heights house fire

Investigators are sifting through the remain of a home in Arlington Heights, looking for the cause of a fire that killed three people.

The fire started just after 3 a.m. Wednesday at 311 Dunton Avenue.

All three victims are adults.

A sergeant from a nearby fire station smelled smoke and saw haze and sent crews over to the house.

It was already well engulfed with flames by the time fire crews arrived.

No word yet on the victims’ names.

Arlington police arson units are taking over the investigation.
