City of Chicago picks 57-foot Christmas tree from South Holland

The tree for the 100th anniversary of the Chicago Christmas tree is coming from South Holland.

The 57-foot Colorado blue spruce is being donated by the Moore family.

It will be cut down this Thursday and arrive at Daley Plaza on Friday.

The family will light the tree, during the annual ceremony on November 26.
