A south suburban high school student is charged with threatening the life of a classmate.
Prosecutors say 19-year-old Thomas Braasch posted a message on Facebook last week, telling the classmate he would kill him the next day at Shepard High School in Palos Heights.
Braasch did not have a weapon when school security stopped him Thursday.
But, Braasch told police he’d been planning to shoot the boy for a year, because the boy was bothering him.
He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
