Woman rescued after her foot got stuck in crosswalk hole on Michigan Ave.
Chicago firefighters rescued a woman after her foot got stuck in a gap on Michigan Avenue.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday night.
The woman was walking along a crosswalk when her foot got lodged in an expansion joint.
Firefighters used the “jaws of life” to free her.
They drilled near her foot to make the hole larger and 45 minutes later, she was able to pull her foot out.
The woman was checked out at a hospital and is expected to be okay.
