Several families displaced after apartment fire in unincorporated Glen Ellyn

At least six families are displaced overnight, after a fire broke out in an apartment building in unincorporated Glen Ellyn.

The fire started around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

Firefighters were able to contain it to the third floor of the twelve-unit building.

Everyone was evacuated.

Crews began to have water issues, when the roof of the building collapsed.

No one was hurt in the fire.

It took about 60 firefighters from different stations to put it out.
