Jurors could begin deliberations today in a high-profile baseball bat beating trial; closing arguments start this morning.

Heriberto Viramontes didn’t testify in his own defense; he’s accused of beating and robbing Stacy Jurich and Natasha McShane three years ago.

The defense had five police officers testify that Jurich initially told them her attacker may have been black; McShane is still unable to talk because of her injuries.

Viramontes reportedly told interrogators, he attacked the women to get money for drugs.

Stupid defense. HEY! Let me beat the defense attorneys silly with a baseball bat – then let's see just how coherent they'll be within the first 24 hours. Let's just beat them silly for the HELL of it, because if they're defending this piece of crap, they just plain deserve it.
