Head into downtown Arlington Heights and head back in time five decades.

The family that brought you Chicago’s Oak Street Bistro now has Circa 57’,  a retro restaurant that opened its doors last week, but the calendar on the wall takes you back circa 1957.

The gastro diner is decked in full 50’s regale and the food to back it up.

From the Green River Soda to the home cooked dinners, the food is a throw back to some good ol’ days..

The burgers range from the classic cheese to the cheddar bacon and onion, and blue cheese and avocado.

And for the kiddos, there’s TV-dinners served on throw back metal trays, and of course classic shakes and soda’s from the soda jerk to wash it all down.

If a cocktail is your poison, you’ll find that at the full service bar area with beer and wine on tap.
