CHICAGO, October 18, 2013 – Dominick Stasi has been named WGN-TV executive producer of WGN News at Nine and WGN News at Five as well as CLTV newsroom oversight effective November 4, 2013, according to Greg Caputo, WGN-TV news director.
“Dominick is creative, thoughtful and a strong leader,” commented Greg Caputo, WGN-TV news director. “He’s a team builder with lots of ideas and a vision for the future of our evening newscasts.”
Most recently, Stasi spent the past year as executive producer at WFLD, Fox 32’s morning show. Prior to that, he spent three years as platform manager at WMAQ, NBC 5, producing for their morning show. He also spent three years at Tribune Broadcasting’s CLTV, first as a producer and then as executive producer. He got his start in Springfield, MO (KSPR) and WDJT in Milwaukee, WI in a variety of news positions.
Stasi received his BA in journalism from University of Illinois.
